Local High School Mock Trial Coach
Lauren Wilburn, a lifelong resident of the Chambersburg area, brings strong local roots and deep community ties to her practice. Her focus includes family law (divorce, alimony, marital property distribution, child custody/visitation, child support, prenuptial/postnuptial agreements, enforcement/post-divorce matters, step-parent and private adoptions), estate planning, wills, trusts, probate administration, will contests, and select civil litigation.
Lauren is regularly appointed by courts to represent children’s interests in complex custody disputes and recently became a certified mediator, with active plans to expand her ADR services. She is known for her compassionate yet assertive advocacy, particularly in helping families navigate high-conflict situations while protecting vulnerable parties.
After earning dual B.A. degrees in History and Political Science from Loyola University Maryland, Lauren received her J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, graduating in the top 15% of her class. She clerked for appellate and circuit court judges before joining private practice. Earlier in her career, she represented child welfare interests in abuse/neglect cases.
Outside the office, Lauren volunteers as a coach for local high school mock trial teams and supports youth programs in Franklin County. She is married with one child and enjoys community events and outdoor activities.
